Iain Mahaffey is a multimedia artist based in New York City. His work explores avant-garde fashion editorials and commercial spaces alongside peers and those who share a similar ethos of world-building. His personal projects examine a space of exemption, exploration, and "ego mania" as he describes it; constructing a space beyond the ego of the digital age, focusing purely on the intent of curation, creation, and the benefaction of our current actions or lack thereof. Combining a series of mediums to explore what it means to exist in the ever-changing world of the 21st Century—the written word, photography, videography, painting, fashion design, and sculpture. He endorses us to be artists unapologetically pushing our minds to examine mundanity in a post-modern-post-ironic space.
